Camino Update Day #6 Up early and out the door before 8. Hills, wrong turns, a fountain of wine, and other normalities here on the Camino. We stopped for coffee in a small village and saw our first Pac-Man console. Sort of feels like the Camino, eat as much as you can before the ghosts catch you. We greeted friends, made new acquaintances, skirted around wobbly groups who had been out partying, and ran from a dog. Our hike was shorter today, and we arrived earlier in town, about 1:30. We found a restaurant and filled up on bacon, eggs, and French fries. Some friends who work on the Camino brought over supper to our room, and we shared stories from our time in Spain. The next two days are the longest two back to back days we have on the Camino. We hope everyone’s legs hold up.
