Camino Update Day #7 Today was our longest day yet, so Grant helped us by getting us up a couple times in the night. We got out before the sun was up and worked our way through the “Knee Crusher” segment, known for its never ending ascents and descents. We stopped in a town called Sansól for a coffee and croissant, served out of what appeared to be a man’s storage shed. Not questionable at all…but we were desperate. We picked up a friend, Sarah, not too long after that and the new voice kept us distracted as the sun kept rising and the kilometers kept coming. We stopped in Viana, a town known for their crazy festivals and the bulls that join them. There wasn’t anything too exciting happening, except our crew desperate for water. We finally arrived in Logroño around 2:30 and found our lodgings. We were picked up by friends and all ate together, resting after 28 kilometers of hills (17.4 miles). Tomorrow we get up and try to walk the same distance! Number of steps: 39,901 Next stop: Nájera Percentage Completed: 21%
