What’s good about the Kelty Bestie Blanket?
When we are heading out on a weekend adventure, or into the mountains for a week off, we make sure this blanket gets tossed in. It has served us well sitting in front of the fire, on picnics or as a spare blanket in an Airbnb. When the temperature drops, this will buy you some extra time outdoors until the clamour of little voices overwhelms your senses.
Having the stuff sack makes it easy to pack up when we take off, but typically we have had the blanket floating around our house for use by the coldest member of the family.
It is a good size to have, but most likely you will need two if your family hasn’t learned the fine art of sharing yet.
What’s not so good about the Kelty Bestie Blanket?
Having the stuff sack is great, but if there was a way to sew it right into the blanket itself this would keep us from losing it all the time.
Conclusion: We have a few items we always keep ready to go when we load up the car. We have a packable chair, a pair of binoculars, a Kelly Kettle and some other essentials. This blanket is one of those for the winter months.
- We received this blanket free of charge in exchange for an honest review.
